Overview:
The discoloration of teeth has many causes, some of which come from drinking tea and / or coffee. A Patient can address with a few methods. Teeth whitening products bought over the counter can produce successful results, while products provided by a dentist can offer a more satisfying outcome.
Our office offers ZOOM whitening. The benefits of professional teeth whitening are immense and they come out looking great. Customized mouth trays are used, which are aligned to the shape of the patients tooth structure. The patient can decide if they would like fast-acting results, or a more measured schedule for whitening.
A whitening kit contains a specialized mouth tray, which must be worn for certain duration. The mouth tray must be worn with a specialized bleaching agent. Many stains can be removed via professional whitening, such as those caused by aging, certain foods and drinks, and those caused by tobacco. There are specific stains that cannot be removed, such as those due to trauma, or overexposure to fluoride.
If crowns or composite fillings are present, the use of whiteners could make certain teeth whiter than neighboring teeth.

Dr. Hussain is one of the best dentists I've ever had. She's extremely positive and friendly, and explains any issues and causes before and after a service. It's easy asking her questions and voicing concerns. She has a wonderful staff and admin is very good about appointment reminders and confirmations.
